Yesterday at 1700 taskforce 41 was dispatched for a reported chimney fire with reports of flames coming from the chimney

The incident was isolated to the chimney with no further damage. As crews were packing hose the taskforce was alerted of another dwelling fire. Squad 41 arrived and found an outlet on fire. The fire was extinguished and the power was secured.... (Full Story & Photos)

Now that the first significant snowfall is coming to an end, we would like to take a minute to thank our Public Works department for the awesome job they have done to keep the roads as clear as possible, given the circumstances

As the snow storm approaches we have a couple of reminds

1. Please remember to remove vehicles from the streets to help out public works.
2. Do not play on frozen lakes or retention ponds.
3. Please if you can clear snow from around fire hydrants near your home this helps us in the event of a fire.

This afternoon while covering Deptford Twp

Clayton Fire Company, January 22

The cover companies were alerted for another dwelling fire in Deptford. Engine 41 and rescue 738 (Westville) arrived on scene simultaneously with smoke showing from a single family dwelling. Rescue 738 located a bedroom fire while engine 41 stretched a handline to extinguish the fire.... (Full Story & Photos)
